What is tirzepatide?
Tirzepatide is a medication that acts on two hormone pathways involved in appetite regulation: GIP and GLP-1.
By influencing hunger and fullness signals, tirzepatide may help eligible patients reduce food intake and support weight management alongside dietary and lifestyle changes.
At Orion, we believe medication can help quiet the food noise. What you build in that quieter space matters just as much.
Who may be eligible?
Tirzepatide may be an option for adults who meet medical weight-management criteria based on their BMI, weight-related health conditions, and overall medical history.
It is not appropriate for everyone. Certain medical conditions, including a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2, may exclude patients from treatment. Pregnancy and other medical factors must also be considered.
Our medical team determines eligibility during the initial evaluation.
What does treatment involve?
Tirzepatide is generally administered as a once-weekly injection.
Treatment usually begins at a lower dose and may be gradually adjusted based on the patient's response and tolerance.
Our program includes regular monitoring, weekly check-ins, and nutritional resources designed to help patients make realistic changes they can maintain.
